Raymond “Payday” Houyouse
Raymond “Payday” Houyouse, 71, of Minerva died April 21, 2012, in Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born Dec. 21, 1940 in Bergholz, to the late Isadore and Pauline (Urdock) Houyouse. He retired from PCC in Minerva where he had worked in maintenance for over 40 years. He graduated from Carrollton High School and was an avid trap shooter. He is a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199 and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie (Brunk) Houyouse whom he married Nov. 21, 2002, along with children, Andrea Raffle of Minerva, Lisa Sanders of Louisville, Andrea (Mike) Love of Akron and Amanda (Bill) Brunner of Minerva; five sisters, four brothers, nine grandchildren; Joshua and Ashley Sanders, Lloyd and Kate Raffle, Kolten, Lydia and Olivia Brunner, Gavin and Lola Love.
He is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Chris Raffle; a sister, and a granddaughter, Emily Rae Sanders. He will be missed by many friends, and especially Kolten, “his buddy”.
A Graveside service will be held April 26 at 11 am in East Lawn Cemetery with Mr. Terry Bailey officiating. Calling hours will be held April 25 from 6-8 pm in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com. |
