Kenneth D. Hockenberry

Kenneth D. Hockenberry, age 71, of Ontario, CA, formerly of Carrollton, passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. 

Born Aug. 19, 1939, he was a son of the late Delmer Perry and Frances Hockenberry. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960, and was employed at the former Surety Rubber of Carrollton.

He is survived by his wife, Mamik Hockenberry, Ontario, CA; two sons, Jeffrey (Sheri) Hockenberry of Jacksonville, AR; Michael (Amy) Hockenberry of Canton; two daughters, Betty Jeanne Burns-Hughes of Great Falls, MT, and Lyndsy Hockenberry, of the home; 10 grandchildren, Jessica (Steve) Melick, Erlena (Mark) Parker, Michael, Benjamin, and Emily Burns, Sarah Hockenberry, Desiree', Nicole, Travis, and Tyler (Rita) Hockenberry; one great granddaughter, Ashtyn Ono; two brothers, Ronald and Ray Hockenberry; and three sisters, Shirley Essig, Eileen Coleman, and Betty Horton.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Max, Ted, Bob, Ralph, Harold and Carl Hockenberry.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Home.  His ashes will be buried at Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg, OH, with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. March 13.
