Harold J. Cupp
Harold J. Cupp, age 68 of Robertsville died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, peacefully at home with his family.
Born Sept. 28, 1942, in Fairmount, WV, he was a son to Oneita (Boggs) Cupp of Paris and the late Ivan Cupp.
He retired from Akron Brass where he was a machinist and attended Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church. He trained standard bred racehorses and was a member of the United State Trotting Assoc., A.B.A.T.E. Club, Elks and Eagles.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Mike) Wright of Robertsville and Amy (Timothy) Johnson of Carrollton; two sisters, Sharon (Joel) Weinhardt of Paris and Susan (Richard) Brigham of Minerva; three brothers, Eugene (Elva) Cupp of Massillon, Daniel (Rosalie) Cupp of Florida and James Cupp of Carrollton; one grandson; five step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren and a special friend, Joyce Robb of Massillon.
He is preceded in death by his wife Karen (Cross) Cupp who died in 1987; and a sister, Alberta Miller.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
