Delbert G. Niuman
Delbert G. Niuman, age 94, of Minerva, died Sunday Jan. 9, 2011, in Minerva Eldercare. Born Dec. 19, 1916, in Minerva, he was a son of George and Alice (Cassidy) Niuman.
He was a self employed Real Estate Developer and was a truck driver and agricultural truck driver. He was a member of Minerva First Christian Church and a former member of the Minerva Lions Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Wilson of Kansas City, KS, Kitty (Bob) Ostarchvic of Minerva, and Bonny Maddrell of FL; a sister, Jeanette Toalston of Minerva; five grandchildren, Chaun (Angie) Wilson of Kansas, Lance (Christy) Wilson of California, Tabitha (Chris) Brewster of Minerva, Kyrstin (Brian) McPeek of Zanesville and Whitnee Maddrell of North Canton and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie (VanFossen) Niuman, who died in 2002, and a brother, Edwin Niuman.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday Jan. 15in the Minerva First Christian Church with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home to help with expenses. |
