Marilyn J. Glavan

Marilyn J. Glavan, age 80, of Minerva and Louisville, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, in Oakhill Manor Care Center in Louisville.

Born July 15, 1929, in Cleveland, she was a daughter of Charles and Helen (Nickel) Walker.

She is a graduate of Willoughby High School and worked for many auto dealerships over the years in many different capacities and worked for PCC in Minerva. She retired from Kishman's IGA in Minerva.

She is survived by her eight children, Don Glavan of Birmingham, AL,, Ken Glaven of Columbiana, Sandy McCracken of Wadsworth, Carol McCarty of Minerva, Dale Glavan of Canton, Jamie Glavan of Minerva, Janet (Nate) Neubauer of Louisville and Jean (Randy) Peterson of Ten Sleep, WY; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren

Following cremation, a memorial service was held Jan. 3 in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Joseph Ertl and Tom Kishman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Oakhill Manor Activity Fund or a charity of your choice.
