Ernest H. Roudebush
Ernest H. Roudebush, 86, of Brenner Rd., Carrollton died Dec. 18, 2009, at home following a brief illness.
Born June 20, 1923, in Washington Twp, Carroll County, he was a son of the late Lee and Bertha Roudebush.
He was a World War II veteran of the Navy for three years, serving in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. He was cofounder, owner and operator of Deluxe Body Shop, founded in 1949. He retired from the REA after 21 years of service and was a member of the Carrollton Church of Christ (Christian Disciples).
He is survived by his wife, Betty, whom he married March 12, 1946; two sons, Wilfred (Christine) of Bowling Green and Joe (Lana) of Uniontown; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Jay and Carl.
A funeral service was held Dec. 22 in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Doak officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery with full military honors by VFW, DAV and American Legion.
