Harvey "Jack" Eugene Harding

Harvey "Jack" Eugene Harding, age 93, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Great Trail Nursing Home in Minerva.

Born Feb. 16, 1919, in Jefferson County, he was a son of the late Harvey P. and Esther (Ward) Harding.

He was a pottery worker and attended the Methodist Church.  Harvey was a World War II veteran serving in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Josephine Monday, whom he married April 12, 1953, and who died June 8, 1996; a daughter, Ima Jean Harding; four brothers, William, Lee, Wayne, and Dave; and a sister, Violet Hamilton.

Graveside services will be Friday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. in Westview Cemetery with military honors provided by the VFW, American Legion and DAV.

Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
