Silvio Rogo

Silvio Rogo, 87, of Nature Rd., Kensington died in his home early Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 2010.

Born Nov. 28, 1922, in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Jerome and Rose Reynolds Rogo.

He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a retired Carroll County farmer.  He was a member of Minerva VFW and St. John Catholic Church in Salineville.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Mary Sirgusano, whom he married June 12, 1948; a sister, Gerri (Richard) Belopotoskyof Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Rogo in 2003, and a brother, Vincent.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton.  Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery with full military honors.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Silvio's name to Hospice of Carroll County, 1040 Trump Rd., Carrollton, 44615.
