Geraldine (Geri) Moreland

Geraldine (Geri) Moreland, 66, of Buttercup Rd., Carrollton died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in her home following a brief illness.

Born Dec. 1, 1943, in Greenbay, WI, she was a daughter of the late Sylvia Novy Martin.

She was an employee of the Carroll County Harcatus Program, retiring this past April and was a member of the Carrollton VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Todd Haines of Georgia; two daughters, Wendi Haines of Carrollton and P.J. Stiegfried of Canton; a foster son, Harold Fogle of Canton; stepson, Mike Moreland of Carrollton; stepdaughter, Michelle Howell of Carrollton; numerous grandchildren and one great grandson.

At Geri's request, cremation has taken place and her family will conduct a private burial service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Geri's name to Mercy Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave., NW, Canton, 44720
