Judy A. Starr
Judy A. Starr, 69, of Steubenville died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Trinity West.
Born Nov. 4, 1943, in Carrollton, she was the daughter of Lois White Maple of Carrollton and the late Carl Maple.
Judy was a member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557, Ladies Shrine, Order of Eastern Star LaBelle Chapter #414 and the Red Hat Society. She retired from AEP as a lab technician after 35 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Dawneve (Michael) Ryan of Toronto, Lori (Jim) Knox of Wintersville, Mary Ann (Jeff) Brettell of Gibsonia, PA, Terri Wolf of Havelock, NC, Gerald T. (Sharon) Starr, Jr. of Rayland, OH, and William Starr of Rosamond, CA; three sisters, Barb Boring, Edie Lowdermilk, and Nancy Mehalik, all of Carrollton; two brothers, Danny and Butch Maple, both of Carrollton; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. "Jerry" Starr, Sr. on Feb. 6, 2009.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 9:30 a.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating. Entombment will be at Fort Steuben. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. |
