Emily R. Gamble

Emily R. Gamble, 43, was taken home to be with our Lord on Monday morning, Nov. 9, 2009.

She is survived by her mother and father, Dwight and Beverly Gamble of Carrollton and two sisters, Lydia of Kent, and Cora of Carrollton.

Emily graduated from Carrollton High School and attended Tusco Beauty School. After attending beauty school, she worked in retail management at several companies for over 15 years. Recently she was self-employed.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and A.C.E. (Advocates, Choices, and Empowerment). She enjoyed the arts, music, collecting dolls, and cooking.

Memorials may be made to the Samaritans Purse International Relief Operation, Christmas Child, and A.C.E. Clubhouse. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and her many pets.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Loomis officiating.
