Rose Hellen Marty

Rose Hellen Marty, 84, of Carrollton died Friday evening, Oct. 7, 2011, in Great Trail Care Center following an extended illness. Born April 8, 1927, in Hondoras, she was the daughter of the late Enrique and Matilde Calvo Comacho.

A Catholic by faith, she attended Carrollton United Methodist Church and was a former member of Campell Rebecca Lodge at Carrollton. She is survived by a brother, Joseph L. Camacho of Derwood, MD; and a sister, Lidia Camacho of Honduras; and several nieces and nephews in both the United States and Hondoras.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Marty, who died March 17, 1988; and a sister, Margarita. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton with Fr. Anthony Batt officiating.

Burial will follow in Baxter's Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
