Ona Mae Yingst
Ona Mae Yingst, age 80, of Minerva died Tuesday, Aug.18, 2009, in Alliance Community Care Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 13, 1929, in Salineville, she was the daughter of Alec and Minnie (Beadnell) Carter.
She was a waitress for the Southern Inn in Minerva for 40 years and was a 1947 graduate of Minerva High School.
She is survived by a son, Pat Donofrio of Minerva; seven daughters, Lori (Wayne) Boord, Jenny Belcher,
Marilyn Yingst, Carolyn Wackerly, Kim (Dennis) Sevek and Tara (John) Canestraro, all of Minerva and Holly (Boyd) Brewer of East Rochester; two sisters, Ruthe Belich of Salem and Dora (Joe) Keister of Minerva; 13 grandchildren; five step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Yingst who died April 6, 1994; three sisters, Grace Davis, Maxine Enoch and Barbara Patton and a brother, Walker Carter.
Funeral services were held Aug. 21. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
