Mrs. Violet Fay Gross

Mrs. Violet Fay Gross, 93, of Minerva, passed away, Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Great Trail Care Center following  a short illness.

Born July 11, 1917, in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Chester G and Ora O (Taylor) Hutson.

She attended First Christian Church of Minerva.

Violet is preceded in death by her husband William Gross; sister, Lilah Glatz, and nephew, Kenny Hayes.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11 at Bartley Funeral Home with Mr. Justin Pack officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicstown Cemetery.  Friends may register online at www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.
