Kathleen L. Zwick

Kathleen L. Zwick, age 81, of Carrollton, passed away Monday morning, April 11, 2011, in Aultman Hospital. 

Born in Amma, WV, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Velma Potts Ledsome, She was a resident of the Malvern-Carrollton area since 1972.  She retired in 1988 from Carroll Health Care Center after 16 years service, where she was a nurse's aide, previously having worked at Spencer State Hospital, in Spencer, WV.  She enjoyed sewing and making quilts, and loved her parakeets and cockatiels. 

She is survived by her husband, Larry Zwick; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl and Richard Van Voorhis, of Waynesburg, and Margie and Bob Drake, of Little Hocking, OH; one son, Eddie Crihfield, of Malvern; three sisters and one brother-in-law,

Norris and Kenneth Metz, and Garnet Shafer, all of Belpre, and June Bradley, of Huntington, WV; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Crihfield, and one brother and two sisters, Randal, Wanda, and Raylene.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Delaney Young officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery following cremation.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 2-3 p.m.
