Clara M. Lucas

Clara M. Lucas, age 89, of Minerva died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Mercy Medical Center. Born Aug. 9, 1920 in Bayard, she was a daughter to Thomas and Ida (Cotters) Lucas Sr.

She was an employee of Polen's Press Shop in Minerva for many years and retired from Niuman's Meats.

She is survived by a niece, Marilyn (Brian) Crawford of Arizona and great niece, Jackie (Rich) Collins of Arizona.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Esther Montgomery, and four brothers, Tim, Jim, Bud, and Lester Lucas.

Funeral services were held March 21 in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Larry Karlen officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
