Robert Harry Schrader

Robert Harry Schrader, 85, of Scio Rd., Carrollton died early Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, in Carroll Healthcare Center following an extended illness.

Born April 13, 1923, in Stark County, he was a son of the late John A. and Pearl Leonhard Schrader.

He was a WWII Air Force veteran and a retired draftsman for Maycomber Company and Carroll County Highway Department.  He was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Carroll County Vet's Club.  In his spare time, Robert was an avid and proficient woodworker.

He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Shull whom he married Sept. 11, 1948; two sons, Dr. Tim (Marie) Schrader of Henderson, NV. and Richard (Susan) Schrader of Butte, MT., and four grandchildren, Andrew, Christina, Joseph and Joshua.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

A memorial service will be held March 7 at 1:30 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Michael Doak officiating.  Visitation will be from noon until service time, with Masonic services being held at 1 p.m.
