Charles R. Yost

Charles R. Yost, age 73, of DoverCharles R. Yost, age 73, of Dover passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, in Hennis Care Centre, Bolivar.

Born in Wheeling, WV he was the son of the late Bernard Plecha and Cathleen Yost.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Core and the Air Force where he was a marksman, paratrooper and medic. He worked at the Morton Salt Co., Sunshine Mining Co., and during his retirement Buckeye Protective Services in Canton.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann (Rohr) Yost, of the home; son, Wade (Liz) Yost of Coldwater, MS; daughter, Andrea (Dave) Bodo, of Mechanicstown; stepson, Jason (Tina) Kindelberger, of Carrollton; step daughters, Angela (Rich) Furr, of Warren, Jennifer (Dave) Jagunic, of New Philadelphia, and Stephanie Arrasmith, of Warren; brothers, Bob (Pam) Plecha and Bill (Jen) Plecha, all of Geneva; sisters, Frieda Fischer, of Wheeling, WV, Pat (Rich) Bystrom and Mary (Dave) Vignal, all of Geneva; grandchildren, Charree, Emma, Kyra and Tessa; six great-grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; special nieces and nephew, Terry, Kim, Pam, Gail, Charles and many other nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial was held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Zoar with Fr. Ed Keck as celebrant. Burial was in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Bolivar. Donations may be made to the family.
