Frank Cole
Frank Cole, age 93, of Minerva died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, in Aultman Hospital.
Born Oct. 22, 1918, in Newland, NC, he was a son of Ira and Nola (Pritchard) Cole.
Frank spent several years living in West Virginia, Idaho and Oregon. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox in Alliance and was the owner and manager of Cap's Grocery in Minerva for several years. He was a member of Carrollton Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Lambert) Cole; daughter, Deanna (Larry) Stoffer of Kensington; son, Denzil (Betty) Cole of Minerva; brother, Ernest (Dorothy) Cole of Kensington; a half-sister, Mildred Lane of Newland, NC; four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and one great great great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel (Grindstaff) Cole; son, Dale Cole; two sisters; four brothers and a great grandson, Jesse Brown.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
