Nancy Louise Klontz
Nancy Louise (Gross) Klontz, entered Heaven Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at the age of 81.
Born March 12, 1930, in Springfield, OH, she was a daughter to the late Henry Gross and Lula V. (Vanscoy) Gross.
Nancy retired from Ohio Valley Hospital in 1988 after 26 years working as a nurse's aide and then ward clerk on the pediatrics floor. A former resident of Amsterdam, she moved to Carrollton in 1993.
She is survived by three daughters, Bunny (Dennis) Gallagher and Alice Booth, both of Amsterdam, and Deborah Reese of Carrollton; a son-in-law, James Randalson of Amsterdam; two sisters, Jennie (Jim) Grimm of New Carlisle, and Ruby (Bob) Harmison of Urbana; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three special friends Josie, Connie and Imogene; and two loyal cat companions, Dolly and Lilly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dean Klontz, whom she married July 8, 1951, and her oldest daughter, Cynthia Randalson on Sept. 26, 2004.
Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 12 at Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Thurston officiating.
