Coletta M. Kiko

Coletta M. Kiko, age 96 of Minerva died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, in her home.
Born Jan. 3, 1913, in Canton, she was a daughter of Earl and Minnie (Henry) Gill.

She was co-founder of Russ Kiko Associates, Inc. She graduated from St. John's High School in Canton and is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva and the Catholic Women's Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Lahr of Navarre, Margery (Bill) Cleary of Mantua and Bertha (Lennie) Milano of Minerva; nine sons, Richard (Patty) Kiko of N. Canton, Daniel (Pam) Kiko of Salem, Frederick Kiko of Carlsbad, CA, James (Suzanne) Kiko of Paris, Tom Kiko of Canton, L. Joseph (Janice) Kiko of East Canton, Eugene (Ame) Kiko of Canton, John (Lynn) Kiko of Alliance and Russell (Pam) Kiko Jr. of Salem; two sisters, Gertrude Thouvenin of East Canton and Mary "Micky" Michel of Louisville; 62 grandchildren; 85 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Kiko who died in 1997; a son, William Kiko; a son-in-law, Lewis Lahr and five brothers and a sister, Walter, Raymond, William, Carl and Ralph Gill and Ann Mae Eckroat.

A Mass of the Christian Burial was held Dec. 7 in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Gabriel Catholic Church for care of "Billy's Way".  Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
