John Hamilton ThompsonJohn Hamilton Thompson, age 79, of Carrollton, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Aultman Hospital.

Born Nov. 30, 1932, in Carrollton, he was a son of Wilber and Nellie (Francis) Thompson.

Later he would learn to develop and print his photos.  While in Korea, he would meet and later marry Yi Chin Sun "Lee." Since relocating to the North Canton area nearly five years ago, John met and made friends with some special caregivers, Peg Nichols and Danelle Bennett. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Danbury in North Canton for their kind, caring ways and great food.

He is survived by a son, Timothy R. Thompson; two daughters, Brenda L. Thompson and Theresa M. Merrill; nine grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
