Betty B. Danley
Betty B. Danley, 89, of Carrollton died Thursday morning, Sept. 15, 2011, at Aultman Hospital in Canton after an extended illness.
Born March 30, 1922, in Carrollton, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Cora Bell Dray Moore.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrollton and Eagles Auxiliary #2185.
She is survived by her son, Keith (Sandy) Gardner of Carrollton; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a sister, Martha Baxter of Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Francis Huffman, whom she married in 1940, and who was killed in 1944 during World War II; William Gardner, whom she married Oct. 26, 1950, and who died March 29, 1966; and James Russell Danley, whom she married June 21, 1981, and who died Nov. 23, 1985; a son, Francis Huffman; a daughter, Bernice; three brothers, Kenneth, Harold and Earl; and five sisters, Anna, Alberta, Elsie, Peg and Violet.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in the funeral home.
