Margaret L. Thompson

Margaret L. Thompson, 80, of Carrollton died Thursday evening Sept. 3, 2009, in the Carroll Healthcare Center in Carrollton.

Born Jan. 2, 1929, in Carrollton, she was a daughter of the late John George and Margaret Smallwood Morrow.

She was a member of the Carrollton Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son, Harry "Tom" Thompson of Harlem Springs; one foster child, Eva Farcus; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Thompson; one son; and one daughter.

A graveside service was held Sept. 9 in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton with Rev. Mike Doak officiating. Services were handled by Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
