Eleanor E. Mangun
Eleanor E. Mangun, 84, of Carrollton passed away Sunday, Aug/ 8, 2010, in Carroll Healthcare Center following an extended illness.
Born March 19, 1926, in Malvern, she was a daughter of the late George and Eileen Harsh Mills.
During her life Eleanor enjoyed activities including farming, gardening, and cooking.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Bonnie) Mangun of Louisville and John (Carol) Mangun of Carrollton; one daughter, Sharon (Robert) McEntire of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Homer and Paul Mills; five sisters, Martha Dennis, Dorothy Hosterman, Olive Clark, Barb Klingaman, Pauline Cargill; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel H. Mangun, in November 1994; one sister, Evelyn, and five brothers, Joe, Fred, Bill, Rex, and Earl.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home with Rev. Don Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Community Hospice, 1040 Trump Road, Carrollton, 44615, or donor's favorite charity. |
