Frances E. Unkefer

Frances E. Unkefer, age 91, of Minerva, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Minerva Eldercare Center in Minerva.

Born April 5, 1918, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Weston and Eva (Gibbons) Corson.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Capital University.  She was vice president of Homer Unkefer Inc. in Minerva for over 60 years, was a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and the Alliance Country Club.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Homer Unkefer whom she married Apr. 24, 1942; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Simms of Malvern and a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Magdaline Unkefer of Alliance.

Following private family services Frances will be will be buried in Liberty Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Minerva First Christian Church Memorial Fund or to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
