John David Bake
John David Bake, 55, of Apollo Rd., Carrollton, died Friday evening, May 7, 2010, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on SR 39 west of Carrollton.
Born Sept. 20, 1954, in Canton, he was the son of John and Eleanor Genetin Bake of Carrollton.
He was a plumber and pipefitter for Local 94 of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in Canton. He was a member of the Carrollton Eagles and was a staunch supporter of the Carrollton Schools Warriors football and wrestling programs.
He is survived by his wife, the former Randi Davis, whom he married June 1, 1983; two sons, Zach Bake and Grant Bake, both of the home; a daughter, Makenzie Bake of the home and three brothers, William Bake of Massillon, Robert Bake of Navarre and Michael Bake of Carrollton.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carly and a sister, Jeannie Lynn Bake.
Funeral services were held May 12 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Alan Jefferies and Dr. Rob Miller officiating. Memorial donations may be made in John's name to the Carroll County Humane Society.
