Nova J. Courtheyn
Nova J. Courtheyn, 83, of Minerva passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center, surrounded by family following a short illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1925, in Mechanicstown, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Laura (Hardgrove) King.
She retired from TRW where she had worked as a finisher for 25 years. Prior to that, she worked at Good Roads Machinery.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Seikel of Malvern; a son, Larry (Gail) Courtheyn of Minerva; granddaughter Shari Courtheyn of Minerva; a sister, Mary Alice Thompson of the home; two brothers, Glen Richard King of Mechanicstown, Kenneth James (Pam) King of Minerva and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Courtheyn; a grandson Robert Morgan, sisters Audrey Zimmerman, Georgia Houze, and Marge McKenzie.
Funeral Services will be held at Bartley Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday 6 - 9 p.m. at Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery.
