Ralph E. Heilman

Ralph E. Heilman, 73, of Carrollton passed away Thursday evening, April 28, 2011, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Born Sept. 15, 1937, in Stark County, he was a son of the late Willis and Orpha Miller Heilman.

He was a member of the Carroll County Vet's Club and United Presbyterian Church in Carrollton.

He is survived by his wife, the former Sally Boring, whom he married July 3, 1959; a son, Jay Heilman of Carrollton; three daughters, Laurie Heilman of Carrollton, Paula (John) Kenney of East Rochester and Karen (Bobby) Tipton of Carrollton; a granddaughter, SarahJean Tipton; two step granddaughters, Angie Tipton and Amber Williamson; very dear niece, Courtney Sinclair; several other nieces and nephews and a brother, Harold (Lois) Heilman of Canton.

A memorial service was held May 1 at Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton with Rev. David Krankovich officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ralph's name to Carrollton United Presbyterian Church, 265 Second St., SW, Carrollton, 44615.
