Paul J.  Halter

Paul J.  Halter, 80, of Bridgeport, passed away April 11, 2010, in Decatur, TX.

P. J. was born May 14, 1929 in Carrollton, Ohio to Frank and Mabel Halter, who preceded him in death. He was self-employed as a horse trader and truck owner/operator.

Mr. Halter enjoyed playing the lottery.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Eileen Watson Halter, who he married Nov, 4,1950; four sons, David Halter (wife, Margie), Dwayne Halter,  Darrell Halter (wife, Lori), and Dennis Halter (wife, Shannon); two brothers, Clarence Halter and Carl Halter; and grandchildren, Manda (husband, Kyle), Jace, Justin, and step-grandchildren, Jason and Dylan.

A memorial service was held April 13 at Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel with  Rev. Bill Hughes officiating.
