Shirley Ione Marquart

Shirley Ione Marquart age 83, of Thornville passed away April 17, 2011, at Selma Markowitz Care Center.

Born Dec. 27,1927, in Stone, KY, she was a daughter to the late Alonzo and May (Hensley) Johnson.

She grew up in a Masonic home and went to Central High School in Columbus.
She is survived by her husband Marion Marquart; children, David Marquart and Ronald (Deloris) Marquart; a granddaughter, Rhonda Michelle Marquart and a sister, Ruby Varney.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Dallas Johnson and Dora Davis.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 21at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brian Harkness at Boring-Sheridan Schoedinger Funeral Home, 56 South Main St., Thornville. Burial will follow in Licking Township Cemetery.
