Harold C. Pennock
Harold C. Pennock, age 77, of Minerva died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in his home.
Born May 27, 1933, in Minerva, he was a son of the late Everett and Ida (LeBeau) Pennock.
He was a truck driver and member of Minerva Tri-county Eagles Aerie #2199, Lost Voice Club and 2-cylinder Antique Tractor Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Jarvis) Pennock whom he married Feb. 8, 1952; two daughters, Patti (Don) Gotschall of Minerva and Amy Jo Pennock of the home; daughter-in-law, Joyce Taylor of Minerva; four sisters, Shirley (Jack) Saling of Minerva, Barbara Blymiller of Massillon, Deborah (Bob) Roberts of Minerva and Geraldine (Vern) Wireman of Minerva; brother, Gerald "Butch" (Kelley) Pennock of Minerva; two grandchildren, Cindi Pennock and Curtis Jays; two stepgrandchildren, Mike Rauvola and Michelle Holderbaum; one great grandchild; five step great grandchildren and a special cousin, Ruth (Virgil) Feiock of Minerva.
He was preceded in death by a son, William T. Pennock, and two sisters, Caroline Plott and Marilyn Pennock.
Funeral services were held April 9 in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Chad Durfee officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice. Those unable to attend may sign the register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com. |
