David Arthur Robinson

David Arthur Robinson, 64, of Goshen, IN, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011, at his home.

Born on Oct. 31, 1946, in Coshocton, he was a son of the late Arthur B. and Donna (Brillhart) Robinson.

David worked in sales at Skyline Corporation in Elkhart for 31 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Perry High School in Massillon and a 1968 graduate of Malone College in Canton, with a degree in business and economics. He was a very active member of Dunlap United Methodist, and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren

On June 5, 1970, David married Carol L. McLaughlin in Carrollton, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol L. Robinson of Goshen; son, Michael A. Robinson of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Kristen (Donnie) Weatherholt, and his 2 grandchildren, Morgan Marie and Drake Ellis Weatherholt at home; brothers, Bruce Robinson of Canton, and Greg Robinson of Macon, GA; sister, Debra (Alan) Currie of Dublin, GA; one niece and three nephews.

Friends may also call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Monday celebration service at Dunlap United Methodist Church, Elkhart, IN, with Rev. Joe Smith and Rev. Jim Fookes officiating.  Cremation will follow services at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Anne’s Kits for Kids 1000 West Hively Ave., Elkhart, IN 46517 or the Humane Society of Elkhart. Billings Funeral Home in St. Elkhart, IN, was in charge of arrangements.
