Paul E. Harsh
Paul E. Harsh, 77, of Bear Rd., Amsterdam died early Thursday morning, Feb. 4, 2010, in Mercy Medical Center.
Born Feb. 7, 1932, in Carrollton, he was a son of the late Harry and Lucille Wilkin Harsh.
He was a retired employee of American Electric Power working in Land Management and Acquisition. He was a member of Carrollton First United Methodist Church, Amsterdam Moose, Lathrop #676 Masonic Lodge of Canton, 32 degree Scottish Rite. In 2008, he was inducted into the Carrollton Schools Athletic Hall of Fame.
He is survived by two sons, Douglas Harsh and Robert Harsh, both of Canton; a daughter, Kelly (Robert) Wilt of East Sparta; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Nolan, Katie and Rhonda; two great grandchildren, Chloe and Haley and a brother, John Harsh of northeast Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, Robert, Earl and Nate; two sisters, Shirley and Hazel and his wife, Mary Jane Drabick.
Funeral services were held Feb. 6 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
