Julia O. Novitsk

Julia O. Novitski, 92, of Middleburg (Amsterdam) died in her home early Friday morning, Feb. 4, 2011. Born June 17, 1918, in Wolf Run, she was a daughter of the late Maksim and Olga Reyda Novitski.

She was an employee of the former Bobby Meat Market in Wolf Run from 1934-1956.  She worked at Dorsey's Market in East Springfield from 1977 until her retirement. 

She was a member of All Saints Orthodox Church of Wolf Run, the Sisterhood Lodge of the church and RBO Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry and her twin brother, Daniel.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. in All Saints Orthodox Church at Wolf Run.  Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Amsterdam.  Memorial donations may be made in Julia's name to All Saints Orthodox Church, 1395 CR 75, Amsterdam, 43903.
