James M. Burrier

James M. Burrier, age 84, of Amsterdam died Jan. 8, 2013, in Carroll Healthcare Center at Carrollton.

A son of the late Ross M. and Floy J. Love Burrier, he was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Carroll County.

He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Fleishour; a son, William (Debbie) Burrier of Carrollton; a daughter, Becky (Doug) Hutchison of Carrollton; three grandchildren, James E. Burrier of Carrollton, Jamie Shockey of Carrollton and D. J. Hutchison of Canton; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Burrier of Richville, OH.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James A. Burrier, in 1976.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
