Linda Marie "Oma" Behrens

Linda Marie "Oma" Behrens, 63, of Carrollton passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 11, 1948, in Stillwater, MN, she was a daughter of Patrick J. Carriveau of Stillwater, MN, and the late Ruth Ann Roettger Carriveau.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

Along with her father, she is survived by her husband, Carl Behrens, whom she married Jan. 2, 1969; two daughters, Pamela Cross (Robert Dale) of Carrollton and Milisa (SSG Brian) Clark of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Jessica Cross, Jordan Cross and Jaclynn Cross; numerous adopted grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Kaiden Levi Foxx and Josilynn Sierra Cross; two sisters, Joan (Jay) Nelson and Ann Francois (Tom Shiah); and a nephew, Jacques Francois.

A memorial service will be held Monday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.  Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
