Harriet Lee Nuske
Harriet Lee Nuske, age 77, of Carrollton died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2011, in Mercy Medical Center in Canton, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness.
Born in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Genevieve Plott Peffer and stepmother, Ollie Peffer.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. She was a retired farmer and attended the former Bethany Evangelical Church of Canton.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Kathy Nuske and Ed and Doris Nuske, all of Carrollton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Lee Clark of Carrollton and Linda and Dave Gubanez of Bloomingdale; 12 grandchildren, Janice (Jeff) Secriskey, Melissa (Toby) Worth, Jason Nuske, Sarah (Dan) Longdon, Steven and David Nuske, Jen (Ben) White, Tracy (Randall) Mullen, and Valerie, Jessica, Amanda and Maggie Gubanez; and eight great grandchildren, Carson and Abigail Secriskey, Ryan and Lauren Worth, Jocelynn Nuske, Cohen White and Katelyn and Michael Mullen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Edward Nuske, whom she married Nov. 29, 1952; three brothers, Harlan, Ronald and Roger Peffer and a sister, Barbara Archibald.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home. Calling hours are Nov. 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
