Scott J. Gotschall

Scott J. Gotschall, 85, of Louisville passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Aultman Hospital.

Born May 7, 1924, in Mingo Junction, he was a son of the late H. H. and Bernice (Campbell) Gotschall.

He was a retired produce manager from Sparkle Foods in Manchester.  He was a WWII veteran and served in the South Pacific.

He is survived by his wife Nadine; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Fimple of Louisville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Diana Gotschall of Carrollton, and James and Linda Gotschall of Louisville; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by a great grandson, Joseph Kunes and three sisters, Louise Roudebush, Phyllis Marshall and Jane Householder.

Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Roger Kunes officiating.  Interment was in Union Cemetery in Louisville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
