Betty J. Riggenbach

Betty J. RiggenbachBetty J. Riggenbach, age 80, of Carrollton went home to be with her Lord and husband Nov. 7, 2010, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving children who cherished, loved and admired her.

Born May 28, 1930, in Canton, she was the daughter of Moreland and Theresa Beans.

She is survived by a brother, Bud (Vi) Beans of Indiana and her children, Meryl (Ginger of Missoula, MT, Danny (Shirley), Valerie (Butch) McNutt, Betty (Ned) McNutt, and Melvin (Margo), all of Carrollton; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, all who loved and adored her.  There are so many special people to mention that she loved.  Special thanks to Pam Ray of Carrollton for being her home health aide and friend; doctors, nurses, and staff at Aultman Hospital and LTEC staff and nurses.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence W. (Groundhog); four sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton with Ministers Bob Main and Steve Wilsford officiating.  Burial will follow in Baxter Ridge Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Nov. 11 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
