Helen Myers

Helen Myers, 81, of N. Lisbon St., Carrollton, died Friday morning, Nov. 2, 2012, in Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Born June 7, 1931, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret McCort Long.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrollton.

She is survived by three children, sons, Richard C. (Judy) Myers and Dan (Kathy) Myers, both of Carrollton, and daughter, Vickie McKenzie of Sedro-Woolley, WA; two granddaughters, Dulce and Sadie Myers, both of Carrollton; a grandson, Greg (Amy) Myers of Baltimore; two great grandchildren, Noah and Lindsay Myers; and a sister, Shirley Beiber of Carrollton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Myers, who passed away April 1, 2011; a sister, and two brothers.

Interment was in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.  A memorial service will be held Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrollton.

Funeral arrangements were under the care and guidance of Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton.
