Fredrick "Fred" Richard Moore

Fredrick "Fred" Richard Moore, age 68, of Waynesburg passed away in his residence Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.

Born Feb. 11, 1942, in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Clayton O. and Erma Moore.

He was a crane operator for Republic Steel and had a passion for old cars.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ellen Louise Nation whom he married Dec. 11, 1986; two sons, Fred (Jennifer) Moore of Carrollton and Daniel Moore of Waynesburg; five daughters, Linda (fiancé Lenny) Moore of Sandyvale, Terry (Jack) Cutlip of East Sparta, Freda Lee of Bolivar, Melinda (Rick) Moore of Minerva and Bobbi (Greg) Brady of Hinesville, GA; three brothers, Archie (Betty) Moore of Struthers, Robert (Martha) Moore of Carrollton and Henry Moore of Florida; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Emerson; his parents and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Loomis officiating.  Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, preceding the funeral service.
