Karen Glenda Harvey
Karen Glenda Harvey, 70, of Carrollton passed away in her residence Friday, Oct. 2, 2009.
Born July 3, 1939, in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Earl Stanley and Edna Alberta (Bennington) Moyer.
She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and fishing and graduated from Jewett High School.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Jay Harvey, Sr., who she married in 1957; one son, Everett J. (Barb) Harvey, Jr.; three daughters, Shirley Shafer and Charin (Jeff) Herman, both of Carrollton and Angela (Mike) McKeever of Cadiz; 10 grandchildren, Johnny, Lester, Chad and Dwayne Shafer, Jeffrey and Jacob Herman, Christopher Cowling, Kimberly Cowling Stephenson, Heather Harvey Piatt and Ashley Harvey; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Moyer of Florida and three sisters, Agnes Patterson and Roxie (Bob) Strawder, both of Carrollton and Faith Morgan of New Rumley.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dale Patterson.
At the request of the family, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time. Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
