She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Lash, whom she married June 13, 1941, and who passed away Dec. 26, 1998; daughter, Betty Hanlon; son-in-law, Jim Moore Sr.; and three sisters, Lora Steinbach, Ann Anderson, and Effie Hampton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. in Carrollton Baptist Temple with Pastor David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton.  In lieu of flower, she requested memorial contributions be made to Carrollton Baptist Temple or Gideons International.
