Carol Sue (Marcus) Randalson
Carol Sue (Marcus) Randalson, 70, of Amsterdam, beloved wife of 42 years to Arthur C. Randalson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, in Acuity at Trinity Medical Center, in Steubenville.
Born Jan. 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James and Cleo Sutton Marcus.
She was a member of Amsterdam Church of God, a graduate of Springfield High School, and attended Steubenville Business College. She was formerly employed as a legal secretary, a Herald Star editorial staff member, and managed apartment complexes in Parma and Steubenville.
Surviving besides her husband, are one sister, Vivian (Marcus) Springer of Williamsburg, VA; two nieces, Cecelia Kemmer and companion Debra Baird of Williamsburg, VA, and Tina (Robert) Walulik of Amsterdam; nephew, Rodney Baker Sr. and companion Francy Murphy of Amsterdam; three great nephews, Rodney Baker Jr., Ryan Baker, and Caleb Kemmer; great niece, Martina Jolly "The Princess"; two step children, Mark Randalson of Monroe, NC, and Kim (Jim) Blackburn of Richmond; step grandson, Zachary Randalson; step great niece, Anna Murphy; and step mother, Elizabeth Marcus of Dillonvale.
She was preceded in death by a great niece, Ashley Nicole Baker.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Bergholz Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
