Janice M. Cotton

Janice M. Cotton, 83, of Carrollton passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center.

Born Sept. 13, 1925, in Beach City, she was a daughter of the late Ray F. and Ada Mervanna (Brickel) Cotton.

She attended Carroll Hills Workshop.

She is survived by three nieces, Frances (Silvio) Scopel of Amsterdam, Barbara (David) Lumley and Betty (Joseph) Russell, both of Carrollton; one nephew, Randy Cotton, of Carrollton; nine great nieces and nephews and 11 great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Max V. Cotton and Wayne M. Cotton; Aunt Marie Weimer and one great niece, Peri Ann Scopel.

Graveside services were held July 28 at Beach City with Doug Snode officiating.  Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
