Thomasene Plessinger, 64, of Carrollton passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Mercy Medical Center.
Born Dec. 14, 1948, in Johnstown, PA, she was a daughter of Thomas Joseph Lynch and Joyce Arlene (Goughnour).
She attended The New Beginning Church of the Nazarene in Canton and The First Christian Church in Minerva. Thomasene was active in Girl Scouts in the Carrollton area for 35 years. She liked to arrange flowers, enjoyed traveling in the continental United States and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas Gene Plessinger, who she married Sept. 5, 1967; a son, Josh Plessinger of Carrollton; two daughter, Tracy Edie and Kelly McPherson, both of Carrollton; a brother, Mark Lynch, wife Debbie, and children, Jennifer and Caitlin Lynch, all of Seward, PA; a sister, Lori Stevenson and her son, Tyler Steveson, both of Englewood, FL; and 10 grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Mayle.
Services will be held July 3 at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton with Barry Whetstone and Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern. Calling hours will be July 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
