Robert McKim Dentz

Robert McKim Dentz, 88, of Carrollton passed away Friday, June 19, 2009, in Aultman Hospital.

Born Sept. 27, 1920, in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Allen and Edith (Boley) Dentz.

He was a WWII Army veteran.  He was a former member of the Presbyterian Church and retired from Heritage Plastics in Carrollton.  He enjoyed helping his neighbors and loved the neighborhood children as his own.  He enjoyed sharing tales of his time in the Army.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Grace Elizabeth Turk; a son in Navarre; a brother, Donald (Kathy) Dentz of Brilliant; many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held June 23 in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Hale officiating.  Burial was in Westview Cemetery with full military honors by VFW, DAV and American Legion.
