Ray E. Arnold
Ray E. Arnold, age 79, of Alliance and formerly Minerva, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Oakhill Manor.
Born April 26, 1933, in Empire, OH, he was a son to Frank and Eska (Ferguson) Arnold. He retired from Republic Steel after 30 years of service. He is a US Army Air Corp. Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn "Marlin" (Keller) Arnold whom he married April 20, 1957; daughter, Vicky Sargent of Anchorage, AK; sister, Ella Mae Wilson; three grandchildren, Victor (Stephanie) Sargent, Andrew and Anna Sargent; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Aeva Sargent; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Van Arnold in 2011; sister, Mary Lou Wilkin, and a brother, Wayne Arnold.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 18 at 1 p.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
