Gary Lee McNutt

Gary Lee McNutt, age 65, of Carrollton passed into the arms of his Savior May 15, 2012, after an extended illness at the Compassionate Care Center in Canton.

He was born Oct. 18, 1946, in Dellroy.

He attended Magnolia Elementary School and Tusky Valley High School.  He was a retired long distance truck driver and was employed by several trucking companies, including Smith Nursery, Greenlines Transportation and the former Liquid Carbonic. 

He was a nontactical member of Dellroy Volunteer Fire Department and attended church at Family Worship Center.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Jackie; sons, Brian (Shari), Christopher, Shawn, Jason (Cheyney), and Justin (Ruth); grandchildren, Samantha, Alyson, Storm, Beau, Alexie, Aiden and Chloe; twin brother, Larry; brothers, Harvey, Floyd, Mike and Joe; and sisters, Elizabeth and Linda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Goldie (Murphy) McNutt, and several brothers, half brothers and sisters.

There will be no calling hours as Gary will be cremated.  A Celebration Service will be held Saturday, May 19 at 1 p.m. at Family Worship Center, 225 N. Lisbon St., Carrollton.  Donations in Gary's name may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, Aultman Woodlawn, 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, OH 44708-1423.  The Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
